Try the Tri
The UClub's Annual Try the Tri is an indoor triathlon designed for beginners, or anyone curious about the sport, to try a triathlon without having all the gear or worrying about transitions. The event is also great for seasoned triathletes looking for a solid indoor workout!
Participants will be assigned heat times for each event, with 5-10 minute transition periods between each leg. There will be a prize for the fastest male and female time. However, this event is meant to be a fun way to TRI something new, and participants are encouraged to compete to complete!
Event includes a 350-yard swim, 6-7 mile bike, and 2 mile run, and is followed by a group brunch!
Swim Heats Start at 8:15AM, followed by Bike Heats at 9:00AM and 9:30AM, and Run Heats at 10:00AM.
$50 per person includes event T-shirt and brunch!
